自1976年以来，我定期访问中国。我从来没有取消过，去中国的行程，即使在2003年”非典”盛行期间。
因此，我可以估量中国的发展，见证中国对外开放政策的进步。
中国的开放令全世界人民更好地了解中国，也使中国人民的生活得到了改善。
伟大的中国人民期待通过北京奥林匹克运动会，取得重大进步。他们更期望我们的友谊，而不是我们的说教。
北京奥林匹克运动会是中国与世界对话的成果。抵制便是中断对话，便是用关闭的态度来回应中国开放的战略。
不参与就是否定对话。
西方没有干涉中国统一的特权。
法国要表达的仍是我们法兰西共和国的基本原则：自由、平等、博爱。这一信息通过友谊的渠道，在”文化多元性”的范围内表达。”文化多元性”使中法两个古老文明团结在一起，互相尊重以便更好地互相理解。
世界和平需要法中友谊。

France adheres to the policy of Sino-French friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership, French Senate President Christian Poncelet and former Premier Jean-Pierre Raffarin told in a meeting with Chinese President Hu Jintao.
