Northern Iraq crisis: a new Turkey-Iran-Syria alliance?


A combination of Turkish, U.S., and Iraqi forces has substantially upped the pressure on Kurdish Turk separatists based in northern Iraq.

Newsweek International reports that Turkey finds itself increasingly frustrated with U.S. policy and is working to strengthen its ties with Syria and Iran.
