Bombing Iran or Living with Iran’s Bomb?


The Transatlantic Institute issued a report commissioned from defence and Middle East affairs analyst, Kassem Ja’afar. The report looks into the two scenarios described by French President Nicolas Sarkozy in a speech last August 2007: bombing Iran or living with Iran’s bomb.

    This is a false choice fallacy. Why not accept Irans proposal — endorsed by American and international experts — to participate in Iran’s nuclear program thus ensuring that it can’t even theoretically be used to secretly make bombs?

    Don’t forget the 3rd scenario:

    Total pull-out from atomic energy.

    No reactors
    No boms

    There is no need for more studies, more Institutes and more money being put in studies in Institutes / Think Tanks.
